Would you speak out again?

Would I do it again?  In a heart-beat. I would have done it much earlier. I waited over a year for someone more senior than me to speak out. Speaking up is one of the most important things I’ve ever done in my life. It’s one of the most important things that everyone can do – engaging with this material – really understanding what’s gone on – for themselves, for their children, for their families… and for humanity. We live largely in relation to other people. ‘To thine own self be true’… being true to others means I have to be true to myself. There are a thousand things I’d do differently – and my expectations would be altered… but yes, you have to speak out. That’s the only way you can truly exist in relation to other people. [Rob]
