Professor Dr. Kai Herthneck
GERMANY

“The essence of medicine is not compliance with authority but the unwavering pursuit of what is right for the individual. Without truth and compassion, there can be no healing.”
Profession: Professor of Psychiatry & Psychoanalyst
Position: Dr. Herthneck has stood resolutely against the unethical and unscientific measures imposed during the COVID-19 pandemic, even in the face of significant professional, societal pressures, and government persecution. He has been a powerful advocate for safeguarding patient autonomy and upholding the medical profession’s highest ethical standards. Speaking out against coercive policies such as lockdowns and vaccine mandates, Dr. Herthneck has consistently championed evidence-based decision-making and the restoration of trust in healthcare. His unwavering stance reflects a profound commitment to protecting the rights of individuals and the sanctity of the doctor-patient relationship.
Background
Dr. Herthneck is a German-trained psychiatrist and physician with decades of experience in clinical practice. His career has been defined by a commitment to rigorous scientific inquiry and ethical medical care. Recognised for his expertise in mental health, he has provided critical support to patients facing complex psychological challenges. Dr. Herthneck is known for upholding the principles of informed consent and patient-centred care, ensuring that medical interventions align with individual needs and evidence-based standards. His professional integrity and dedication to his patients have earned him the respect of colleagues and the trust of the communities he serves.
Actions & Outcomes
Dr. Herthneck courageously spoke out against the psychological and societal harm caused by lockdowns and coercive COVID-19 measures. Drawing on his psychiatric expertise, he highlighted the devastating mental health impacts and challenged policies that undermined patient rights. And all this despite and because of the facts, that Dr. Herthneck was banned from working in and entering the district hospital, where he headed a department, because he refused the Covid shot. In addition, he was removed from his position at a German university because he never tired of warning his students about the Covid-injection and always pointed out the need to eliminate the so-called “vaccine” poisons from the body.
Through public advocacy and professional leadership, Dr. Herthneck has inspired others to prioritise ethical practice and evidence-based care, reinforcing trust in the medical profession during a time of crisis.
Current Status
Dr. Herthneck continues to practise psychotherapy in Germany, offering compassionate care while advocating for ethical, patient-centred approaches to healthcare. He also continues teaching his subjects at University, even though more and more abroad and less and less in Germany. His ongoing work focuses on restoring trust in medicine through evidence-based practices and upholding the principles of medical integrity. He is currently evaluating the possibilities for political asylum abroad.
Why this Lighthouse?
Dr. Herthneck has selected Lautlingen Chateau as his symbol, recognising it as a beacon of resilience, strength, and hope. In an era marked by global tyranny and escalating suppression of personal freedoms, this spiritual fortress represents the courage needed to stand firm against all oppression. For Dr. Herthneck, Lautlingen reflects the belief that it is only through unity, resistance, and shared determination that humanity can break free from the chains of totalitarianism and build a future rooted in truth, justice, and dignity. It is here where, in 1943, the Counts Berthold and Claus Schenk of Stauffenberg drafted the guiding principles for a new Germany for the time after the violent elimination of Adolf Hitler.
