Background
Professor Cosford trained in Australia, has an honours degree in medicine and is a qualified naturopath, specialising in nutritional and environmental medicine for over 35 years. Prior to Covid, she was a researcher with the University of Newcastle into the biomedical aspects of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Autism and ADHD, lectured at international autism conferences, convened two Mind of a Child Conferences in Sydney in 1998 and 2002, and brought the biomedical treatment of autism into Australia. She was a senior lecturer for ACNEM. Her academic foundation thus includes a strong focus on understanding the role of lifestyle, nutrition, and environmental factors in disease prevention and treatment. Professor Cosford has been instrumental in advancing integrative medical practices in Australia, combining conventional medical approaches with evidence-based natural therapies to improve patient outcomes.

Professor Cosford was an early and staunch critic of the public health measures implemented during the COVID-19 pandemic. She consistently challenged the suppression of early treatment options, the coercive use of experimental interventions, and the ethical breaches in informed consent.
At the outset of the pandemic, she was among the doctors issuing mask and vaccine exemptions and prescribing ivermectin. In January 2022, she chose to retire her medical licence to continue speaking out without restriction. She briefly served on the board of the World Council for Health before becoming Chair of Children’s Health Defense Australia. Through her leadership in Children’s Health Defense Australia, she has worked to raise awareness of these critical issues via public forums, webinars, and media engagements, emphasising the importance of natural immunity and holistic health. Her advocacy has played a significant role in empowering individuals to critically evaluate public health policies and prioritise informed, patient-centred care.
Current Status
Professor Cosford serves as Chair of the Board for Children’s Health Defense Australia, leading initiatives that advocate for medical ethics, scientific transparency, and informed consent. She continues to raise awareness about vaccine safety concerns, particularly regarding the potential pathogenicity of COVID-19 spike proteins from both the virus and mRNA vaccines. She was a co-author of the two Spikeopathy papers, along with several other publications examining the risks associated with these interventions.
More recently, she has initiated the David Declaration, an international effort to push governments to address the issue of DNA contamination in vaccines. Her unwavering commitment to exposing flaws in public health policies and promoting holistic, patient-centred care continues to inspire a global movement towards medical integrity, accountability, and ethical reform.
